NJEA offers discounted legal services for personal matters, such as writing a will or buying a house. A network of attorneys that NJEA regularly works with is available to help you with a legal consult and discounted fees.
Feeling blue? Working with Rutgers Behavioral Health, we offer a 24hr
confidential helpline at 1-866-AID-NJEA (1-866-243-6532). The program provides telephone support, information and resources for school employees experiencing distress in their work or personal lives or even for basic referral questions.
Returning to work can also pose a lot of questions. Your local president or UniServ Field Representative is available to assist you. Call the regional office that works with your local association.
Don’t forget to maintain your membership dues during any unpaid portion of your leave. All of these great discounts and resources listed here are available as a part of your NJEA membership. Ask your local president or membership chair how to continue paying dues.
